Jameson Empire Awards Acceptance Speech

This is a blog which means a great deal to me, as it is devoted to the man who inspires me not only in writing and poetry, but in every facet of life. I have vowed to make more regular time for blogging as part of 2012. I can think of no better way to get back to this one than by posting Russell's acceptance speech for the "Actor Of Our Lifetime" award, presented to him at the 2009 Jameson Empire A(wards.

It showcases both his love of poetry and his cutting sense of humor perfectly. Love the flourish he gives to unfolding his 'speech'.  I never tire of watching it.
