HOLLYWOOD star Russell Crowe is set to sell his stake in NRL club South Sydney at the end of the 2013 season.
Crowe - who along with businessman Peter Holmes a Court assumed
ownership of the Rabbitohs in a messy takeover in 2006 - is reportedly
attempting to simplify his life by getting out of the club.
Souths are expected to make a formal announcement tomorrow.
“All praise for him: for his investment, his passion, his time and his love of the Rabbitohs,” Holmes a Court told news.com.
“I consider myself fortunate to have been by his side for some of the ride.
“The club's never been stronger.”
